11th and 12th graders, this is a reminder... if you are planning on taking classes at GTCC in the Spring, there is an information session on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm on the Jamestown campus, Sears Applied Technology Building Room 120.
Tutorial Buses start up this week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have the bells set up to ring at 3:45 and 4:45. Students should not be late to tutorials nor should those who need bus transportation be allowed to leave early. Any student that can not arrive on time will not be allowed to attend tutorials or ride the late bus home.
This year's first Saturday School for make up time and/or work will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 8 am-12. Saturday School will be held once a month. As we approach the end of the first quarter, students should inquire with their teacher if they owe time. Students who do not make up time after their 3rd absence are required to make up 45 minutes for each class absence. If a student fails to make up time, they will be given a 59 F on their report card. There will be set expectations and rules for students who attend Saturday School. They will be required to sign off on these expectations as they arrive.
This week is homecoming week. We have themes for students to be in spirit each day of the week. The expectations are posted on the website and have been communicated to the students this past week. Please make sure your child's dress fits within the spirit week expectations.
