SWGHS Principal's weekly message for January 18

Good evening Southwest!

The word of the the last 11 months is fluid.....and in our situation, meaning things can easily change.

I would to thank you all for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this pandemic. With that being said, we have a new semester upon us starting on Thursday. One of my first challenges to everyone is how everyone is staying in the loop with communications even more so while we are in this operation during this pandemic. These platforms share a variety of information. Our schools website which has a link for my weekly blog found under Principals weekly message, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, teacher web pages, teacher canvas pages, remind messages from counselors and more. You have every opportunity to be in the know. Please take your time and read this blog over with your student. We don't want you to miss out on anything!

Please enjoy your holiday on Monday and take some time to reflect on the wonderful contributions Martin Luther King accomplished.

Martin Luther King. was an activist and pastor who promoted and organized non-violent protests. He played a pivotal role in advancing civil rights in America and won a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to fight racial inequality in a non-violent matter.
